National Sales Manager

The role of the National Sales Manager is to manage, all assigned accounts and to develop and execute Sales Strategies for all of the brands and product lines and channels of distribution of the company. The position requires leadership and will be crucial in setting the pace for Profitable, Sustainable Growth of Ventamatic, while reporting to the Vice President of Sales.

  1. Secure New Business within the Retail, Industrial and Distribution channels.

  2. Seek out New Channels of opportunity

  3. National Sales Management:

      a. Direct Management of Select Retail and Distribut6ion Customer relationships

          including Product Line Reviews and daily interaction with the buying and

           replenishment teams as required.

       b. Direct management of Strategic planning for product introductions and key customer

          product development interacting with Engineering, Purchasing and the President.

       c. Management of all Major Accounts

       d. Responsible for setting annual forecasts and sales targets and interaction with purchasing to deliver accurate 

           forecasting of demand for the upcoming year.

       e. Create a culture of success, ongoing business and good achievement

        f. Direct Management of all pricing, annual price increases and maintenance of price lists and customer “off sheet”                       pricing and interacts with Controller, Business Analysis and the President to determine and execute pricing strategies.

        g. Responsible for setting promotional calendar including Pre-Season sales, specials and inventory closeout specials. Must                work in conjunction with purchasing to monitor levels of over stocked inventory and plan and execute promotions on                  those items.

        h. Management of Profitability reporting for all customers and planning and planning and execution of pricing plans to                    meet goals.

 4. General

        a. Manage daily/weekly/monthly reporting for each Major Account

            i. Manage Weekly/monthly/annual reporting roll up for Major Accounts division

        b. Participate in daily/ weekly/ monthly conference calls

        c. Oversee Major Account trade shows and events

             i. Trade Shows sample orders

            ii. Trade Show Staffing
