INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will possess a strong technical aptitude and proven expertise in maintaining and repairing industrial machinery and equipment. This role requires a hands-on individual who can perform diagnostics, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions promptly to ensure minimal downtime of production processes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment and machinery.
- Diagnose machinery faults and implement timely repairs to minimize disruption to production.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to improve overall equipment efficiency.
- Utilize technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues.
- Ensure all maintenance activities conform to safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs through a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Recommend improvements for equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest industry practices and technologies.
**Qualifications:**
- A high school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, precision measurement instruments, and diagnostic software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and report writing.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts and weekends, as needed.
