Job Title: Product Design Engineer

Work Schedule: 5 days on site

Job Description:

The position is for a highly creative mechanical design engineer to develop HVAC products and accessories. Develop & manage project schedules, and production integration.

The scope includes conducting competitive evaluation, solid modeling, prototype development, component specification and sourcing, through production integration. Coordinate with technicians, manufacturing engineering, sales, and others to introduce new products.

Responsibilities include:

Conceptualizing new products, including the creation and development of intellectual property. Develop 3-D Models

Perform assigned engineering tasks, ensuring adherence to specifications, standards, and procedures.

Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. Ensure project milestones are met, and track progress throughout the project

Coordinate with suppliers, to ensure that all deliverables meet project requirements and deadlines.

Operate laboratory and plant equipment, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality expectations, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Maintain detailed project documentation, including technical reports, and project closeout documents.

 

Requirements:

Highly motivated self-starter

Minimum 2 year’s product development experience

Strong analytical, scientific, technical, and problem-solving skills;

Ability to create detailed, part and assembly drawings;

Strong mechanical aptitude

HVAC system familiarity;

Sheetmetal parts and assembly familiarity;

 

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical experience.

Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

2-3 years of experience with 3D Models

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical data and process models.

Proficiency in standard engineering software tools, such as CAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent.

Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and safety.

Other

This position will involve working in both office, laboratory and plant environments.

Safety, quality, and adherence to SOPs are critical in all aspects of the role.

Ability to write work instructions and SOP’s

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate between multiple stakeholders.

Requires occasional travel

Must be authorized to work in the United States
